Non-accessible content

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of the ‘EU International Partnerships Academy’ website, we are aware of some limitations, which we are working to fix. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you encounter an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for the ‘EU International Partnerships Academy’ website:

1. Color contrast: Some text elements and buttons do not have sufficient contrast.

2. Keyboard functionality: Some pages have functionality that is not accessible with the keyboard.

3. Headings: Heading elements are not in a sequentially-descending order.

4. Forms: Form elements do not have associated labels. We will ensure to associate labels with all form controls.

5. Images: Some informative image elements do not have a descriptive alternate text and some decorative image elements do not have empty alt attributes.

6. Links: Some links do not have a discernible name. We will ensure that all link names are accessible, and that all link text is visible to screen readers.

7. Feedback form – error messages: Error messages in the feedback form are not associated with the field in which the error was detected.

8. Multimedia: Some videos and podcasts do not have captions and transcripts.

9. PDF documents: Some PDF documents are not accessible. This solution may take longer and will most likely be resolved by the end of the year 2024.

The solution to the above-described issues will be provided with the new release of the template by the end of April 2024.
